Themes of speaking out, keeping silent, telling jokes, telling the truth, and living with faithful or mysterious companions intertwine through nonlinear story lines. This is Corbin’s first, but certainly not last, effort to capture the paradoxical, quirky details of growing up.

24 Hour Plays

Two plays — well, that’s 48 hours. As a member of the writing team, Corbin came up with some wild ideas for the actors to bring to life. “Whippoorwill,” was a dark flashback with a mystery ending, and “Infant’s Infantry,” set in New Jersey during the Revolutionary war, featured bungling Red Coats who just couldn’t get it together.
